Professional portrait of Elisha Sithole

Elisha Sithole is the founder of Money with Elisha. He makes financial knowledge easier to understand and apply, drawing on academic training and practical experience in banking and development finance.

He holds a Master of Commerce (MCom) in Financial Economics and Investment, supported by an Honours degree in Economics. This foundation informs his interests in personal finance, investment fundamentals, entrepreneurship and economic analysis.

With over five years of experience in the banking sector, Elisha brings practical insight into development finance and the financial needs of people and businesses.

His banking experience has involved working with, connecting with and understanding stakeholders across both the private and public sectors, including situations where both were stakeholders at the same time. This exposure has strengthened his understanding of their different priorities, the relationships between them and the role finance plays in supporting development.

His teaching starts with real questions: How do I budget with limited income? How can I save consistently? What should I understand before investing?
